Who We Are
Findlay Family Network is a Team and we are grateful for many volunteers and staff who make our service possible. Below are key folk who you might want to find out about and get in contact with.
Project Director - Shirley Berry
For over 20 years now Shirley has been involved with and committed to the Maryhill Community. In 2005 this took on a new shape as she headed up the Findlay Family Network as it started out, and has been at the forefront of this ever since. Driven by her Christian faith, Shirley is committed to serving people. Within the network this takes a variety of roles including being a certified leader for our parenting courses -'How to drug proof your kids', 'Positive Parenting' and 'Triple P'. She is the counsellor for the Network and seeks to enable and encourage through this.
She has completed 'Psychology of Addictions', 'Fundamentals of Psychology' at Glasgow University and 'Person Centred Counselling Skills' Post Graduate Certificate at Strathclyde University and has recently passed the Diploma course. She enjoys all aspects of family life with her husband and three children.

Treasurer – Wendy Grant (Volunteer)
Wendy volunteers as the organisation Treasurer. Wendy is a Business Manager and uses her many skills in this field to contribute well to her remit and the overall running of the Network.
Project Co-ordinator – Judi McDonald
New Zealand born mother-of-three, Judi has been instrumental in supporting Shirley with the vision for Findlay Family Network since in started in 2005. As well as a background of working for 10+years as a qualified occupational therapist in community mental health, she also has a vast amount of experience to draw on from working with youth, parents and families on a voluntary basis in both Glasgow and New Zealand.
Judi is an invaluable member of the team in many ways and is involved in a huge variety of our activities. She holds a special interest in parenting groups and is trained in 'Triple P' parenting and ‘How to Drugproof your kids ‘ (Care for the Family).

Youth Worker – Rachel Small (Volunteer)
Working in the local community for over six years, Rachel now focuses her attention on the youth side of family life. A qualified nurse with a variety of youth and children’s work experience, she provides an important link into the teenage world. Additional training in suicide intervention and youth work delivery, enhance her skills, with long term relationships representing the key foundation of her role.
